Your car head unit must support Apple CarPlay via USB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Turn on your iPhone and make sure Bluetooth<\/strong> and Wi-Fi<\/strong> are enabled.<\/p>\n

Setup (first time)<\/h2>\n

    Plug in the adapter<\/strong>
    Connect the adapter to the car\u2019s USB data<\/strong> port (use the included data cable if needed). Wait 10\u201320 seconds for the device to power on.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Enable iPhone services<\/strong>
    On iPhone, ensure Wi-Fi<\/strong> and Bluetooth<\/strong> are ON. (No need to join any network manually.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Pair over Bluetooth<\/strong>
    On iPhone: Settings<\/em> \u2192 Bluetooth<\/em> \u2192 select SmartBox-XXXX<\/strong> (or similar). Tap Pair<\/strong> and allow contacts\/notifications if prompted.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Allow CarPlay<\/strong>
    When the \u201cUse CarPlay\u201d prompt appears, tap Use CarPlay<\/strong> \/ Enable<\/strong>. The CarPlay interface will load on your car screen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
